This relationship is overwhelming.
It drains all your energy, and more often results in frustration and disappointment rather than the joy it used to bring.
They start off so well.
Why do relationships keep ending up this way?

They start off so well.
Why do relationships keep ending up this way?
Coworkers expect you to pick up the slack. Your boss doesn’t notice.
Requests for help with chores at home are met with complaints and excuses.
Friends cancel on you at the last minute, as if your time doesn’t matter.
And it hurts… a lot.
No one sees how hard you’re working. You do everything in your power to keep things from slipping through the cracks. It’s exhausting.
They don’t see how much you care. Do they not see you putting your heart and soul into everything you do? Their happiness and well-being are important to you, and you want what’s best for them, even if it means a sacrifice on your part.
Some appreciation in return would be nice.
No one sees how scared and alone you feel. Mostly, it stays hidden. Letting others see how much you are hurting might make it hurt even worse. Still, it would be nice if someone noticed.
It’s hard to accomplish anything.
At night, the thoughts won’t let you sleep.
Thoughts about money… “What’s going to happen if I don’t get a handle on my finances?”
Thoughts about interactions with people… “I should have stood up for myself. Why do I freeze up when she treats me that way?”
The thoughts about yourself… “I’m so tired of feeling this way. I wish I were different.”

If only the “Why did I” and the “I should haves” would take a break for just a moment…
What if that voice lost its power over you?
And you felt light, even peaceful inside?
And you knew that even though life isn’t perfect, you are going to be ok.
In fact, you already are ok.

Sometimes, people need someone to talk to – an objective third party who can hear what is going on in their life and provide an unbiased perspective.

Without judgment, we can observe the financial picture and use it as a tool on your journey to financial wellness.

We bring our woundedness into our relationships, and eventually it manifests as conflict or gradual growing apart.
